Book Review: Unfurl by Cidney Swanson (Book Three of the Ripple series)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Genre: Supernatural Fiction

Age Recommended: 14 and up

This book was a little more violent than the previous ones but I found this one to be the best in terms of the story and character development.

Unfurl

Sam and Will have conquered their enemies but the worst is yet to come. They believe that they are safe but one day, Sam is kidnapped from her home and taken to a lab where people attempt to take an egg from her in order to reproduce superhumans who contain Sam’s DNA.

Some superhumans resembling these have already been created and when Sam sees how much damage they cause, she refuses to cooperate. The people, in turn, knock her out with a sedative and take the egg by force. Sam is returned to her old house where she convinces her parents that she just went for a run.

Later, Sam is reunited with Will, who was formerly in Paris, and the two of them attempt to sneak back into the lab in order to destroy the egg. However, when Sam’s loved ones are held hostage, she must make a difficult choice.

What will she choose?
