Book Review: Visible by Cidney Swanson (Book four of the Ripple series)

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Genre: Supernatural Fiction

Age Recommended: 14 and up

I found this book a little more enjoyable than the others because the focus of the author switched and many secondary characters from previous books became the focus of this story. This helped a lot with the development of these characters and I enjoyed reading about their backgrounds.

Visible

——————————————-

Sam and her friend Gwyn have finally managed to escape from the clutches of the evil Fritz and they believe him to be defeated. Gwyn is also living her “happily ever after” with Chretin and can’t wait to return to her normal life. However, Fritz has other plans.

Fritz plans to use Chretin’s memories against him in order to get him to cooperate with the gene testing that his father was attempting to do. Chretin becomes wary of everyone around him and eventually gets stuck in his past, giving Fritz what he wants. Gwyn, on the other hand, is nervous that her love for Chretin will forever remain unrequited for as long as he is stuck in his past.

Gwyn’s plans to help Chretin move on go disastrously wrong and Fritz discovers even more ways to hurt Chretin using memories of his late wife and child. Moreover, Fritz creates a serum that takes away people’s ability to ripple, or turn invisible, and he wants someone to test it on…

  1. Priyanka, On average, this year you have written a review for book a week — thats incredible!!! Very proud of you — first for reading so much and second for keeping the commitment to write the reviews. I wish I could read some of these books reviewed by you. Merry Christmas and keep reading!
