This book was an ARC courtesy of NetGalley. I enjoyed this book because the author did a really good job of giving readers a window into the main character’s thought process.
Hawthorn isn’t normal- not by any standard. But she doesn’t understand the need for the popular girl to call her out on it. She’d rather blend into the background and stay in the shadows. However, when Lizzie, one of the most popular girls from her school goes missing, everyone goes crazy.
The amount of concern from people who don’t even know Lizzie, including Hawthorn’s brother, starts annoying her. So Hawthorn sets out on a mission with Lizzie’s boyfriend to find her and calm her little town down again.
But Hawthorn also thinks that Lizzie is a werewolf, and finding proof of that is harder than she thought it would be.
Will she find Lizzie Lovett?
