Book of Shadows

——————————————

Morgan is a normal girl. She has her friends and she has her enemies. She loves movies and hanging with her best friend, Bree. Everything is great until a new boy called Cal, comes to her school. He introduces her to a world of witchcraft.

Morgan is rather apprehensive about these type of activities, but she agrees to attend a circle with Cal where they connect with nature and rule out negativity. There, Morgan feels something stirring inside of her and is gifted with a sixth sense. She can foretell parts of the future. Trivial things, like the next hymn that she will sing in choir, or who will call her house next.

Morgan’s mother finds books about witchcraft in Morgan’s room and freaks out, demanding that the books be returned, as they are Catholic and witchcraft is considered evil.

Later, Morgan is confronted by her best friend Bree, who accuses her of stealing Cal from her. Bree then proceeds to dump Morgan on the side of a road on the way to a circle, saying that Morgan may rejoin the circles when Cal is finally Bree’s.

Morgan goes to the circles anyway and captures Cal’s attention. Later, she learns about the seven clans of witchcraft and learns that she is a natural at witchcraft and that she can do great things. However, this fact has to be hidden from her family as they will shun her.

Will she follow her destiny?
