I’m going to be completely honest, I have absolutely no idea what’s happening in this series anymore. Not only do the authors make these insane plot jumps between books and make readers waste 50 pages figuring out what happened, but the authors seem to just be writing the story for the sake of it now. Usually, there’s some sort of direction to a series, and readers can see what the end goal is, but here, it’s like the authors are lost themselves and don’t know what they’re doing. The only reason I keep reading is because I’m attached to the characters and want to know what happens at the end, which I’m sure is what the authors are counting on.
Setrákus Ra has abducted Ella and taken her to his spaceship to raise her as the next ruler of the galaxy after he successfully conquers Earth. Six, and Nine are planning to infiltrate a Mogodorian base to retrieve Eight’s body before it can be used for genetic testing. John, Sam, and the rest have taken over a Mogadorian base in order to help stop the impending war.
When the Gardes figure out that there is a Lorien Sancutary on Earth, their only mission is to get their pendants and Chests to the Sanctuary in hopes of stopping the war, but the issue remains that Setrákus Ra always seems to be one step ahead of them. His warships have already landed on Earth and his Mogadorian army is capturing metropolitan cities all over the world, like New York and San Francisco.
And if that isn’t already bad enough, authorities around the world seem to be siding with the Mogadorians and during the UN Convention, the U.S. government plans on introducing Setrákus Ra to the world as a peaceful alien who wants to coexist with humans.
Will the Gardes make it to the Sanctuary in time and save Earth?
