Book Review: Cipher by Carolyn McCray (Book two of the Robin Hood Hacker series)

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Genre: Thriller

Age Recommended: 14 and up

This book was a little disappointing because the story was very similar to that of the first book. However, the author still did a great job of narrating an exciting tale.

I would recommend reading Binary (book cover at end of this review), a short story prequel, before Cipher because it provides a decent backstory to the current scenario.

Cipher

———————————————–

Ronnie and Zach are back in town, and for basically the same reason. They have to stop a plague from being released through “vaccinations” to all military organizations. The Hidden Hand is behind this attack as well, because the plague seems to be a genetically engineered one.

However, this time, Ronnie manages to apprehend one of the members of the Hidden Hand and must attempt to extract information from him before its too late. When their leads take them around the world, Ronnie and Zach start to doubt the legitimacy of the leads they are getting.

Will they walk straight into a trap?
