I am still amazed at how this author manages to write novels that are almost five hundred pages long while still keeping them exciting and capturing the reader’s interest!

Fire is a girl who has the power to make people think what she wants them to. She can make them do simple things like turn around and avoid her, or even do extreme things such as make them kill themselves. In her world, she is regarded as a monster- her beauty and words are her greatest weapons.
But Fire never misuses her powers. Her sole mission is to kill the raptors who threaten her life and the lives of the people around her. Until one day, Prince Brigan, comes to visit where she lives. He is the only one so far who can resist her words and put up a wall against her beauty.
Moreover, he hates her. Prince Brigan would take any opportunity to kill Fire, and she knows it. Fire gives him as wide of a berth as he wants, but when he is forced to escort her back to his brother, the King, Brigan is forced to spend time with Fire.
The King wants to exploit Fire’s powers to make criminals confess to crimes, or to even arrest innocent people just to appease the public. However, Fire has never used her powers to intentionally harm others.
Will she give in to the demands of the most powerful person?

Hey, nice stuff here.. came across this while reading your dad’s answer on Quora. Keep going. Cheers!
I read this book when I was in grade 8 or so which was years ago, but it’s always been a favourite! I love when people discover books by great authors! Have you read Bitterblue as well?
I have, as a matter of fact, and I found it to be just as great as the rest of the series. Finding good books always makes me happy :)) Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog!
