Book Review: Angelstone by Hanna Peach (Book Two of the Dark Angels series)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Genre: Supernatural Fiction

Age Recommended: 14 and up

I really enjoyed the character development in this book and how well thought-out the plot is.

Alyx, Israel, and the other Rogues are still fighting their battle against the Darkened who are now attempting to take over the world by killing Alyx’s people with weapons that they cannot recover from. Alyx and the others must think of a plan, and soon, but all their plans involve other people and demons that they don’t wish to seek help from.

Moreover, Israel finds out that he is half-demon and the revelation upsets him. When he realizes that Alyx knew this all along, he tells her to leave him alone. Alyx is heartbroken and almost ends up using another person to get back at Israel.

Finally, Alyx devises a plan to steal the material used to make these dangerous weapons and everyone agrees that it is the best way to go. However, when Alyx’s plan to steal the material goes horribly wrong, the only friends she has left are taken hostage.

Will Alyx be able to save the people she loves?
