Book Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling

Rating: 5 out of  stars

Genre: Fiction (if only it wasn’t)

Age Recommendation: Everyone (I cannot stress this enough)

Another one of the amazing books mentioned in the Harry Potter series has come to life in J.K. Rowling’s hands. I found this book especially funny because it is Harry’s property and he has written his own funny notes all over the book. To be honest, I found his notes more interesting than the actual text of the book (which I am sure was the author’s intention).

Also, I just realized- they’re making a movie on this book!!! It will be released next year and I can’t wait!]

Fantastic Beasts2

This book is basically an encyclopedia on every monster in the wizarding world. Or at least the ones that we know of…

Some of these creatures are mentioned in the books or the movies but the other aren’t and the way that they are described is hilarious! I don’t exactly know how to do much more of a review but I’ll post some of the encyclopedia entries here:

Fantastic Beasts1

Mentioned in Books/ Movies:

Not mentioned, but still incredibly entertaining:

See what I mean?
