My 2015 Reading Challenge: The Halfway Mark

So it’s been exactly six months since I’ve announced my 2015 Reading Challenge, so today, I decided to post an update on how it’s going. In addition, my parents are no longer participating in this challenge 😦 but I would still like recommendations for books in the categories that I have not read yet.

As of now, I have finished 12/30 books in my 2015 Reading Challenge. However, school’s out now so hopefully I will be able to write more reviews!

  1. A book for all ages could be Watership Down by Richard Adams
Over 100 years old could be Fairy Tales of Hans Christian Andersen, Grimm’s Fairy Tales or Aesop’s Fables
A book involving a fly – Lord of the Flies
You probably have read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

    1. Thank you so much for these recommendations! I will definitely look into reading those books. I actually have not read a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens but I’ve seen many film versions of it. Thank you again for these wonderful recommendations!

  2. A book with a cool person – I’d definitely have to say the Bartimaeus trilogy by Jonathan Stroud. It’s a personal favourite of mine
Written by someone over 50 – The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
More than 100 years old – A Little Princess by Francis Hodgson Burnett
This is of course assuming that you haven’t already read these, which you might well have 🙂
