“Love was supposed to be easy, wasn’t it?”
I think that Fallen’s plot was a little better than Torment’s. This book had too many new characters and the story became hard to follow.

——————————————————
Luce is now at a new school. This one looks rather friendly and the students there seem decent too. Daniel visits Luce, breaking the rules, and tells her that her two main teachers are an angel and a fallen angel and that Luce has to be especially careful around them.
Luce heeds Daniel’s advice and also figures out that she is in danger. Daniel visits her again once to tell her not to leave the school campus lest the fallen angels capture her.
Luce feels like Daniel is being overprotective and goes to parties on the beach, outside of campus, on her first week at the new school. Daniel approaches her after the party and says that he is disappointed that Luce didn’t heed his advice and Luce gets furious, and says that he isn’t her parent and a lot of other mean things.
Daniel flies away, hurt, and Luce wonders if she has ruined whatever they once had between them.
A couple of days later, Luce finds out that fallen angels are trying to get to her and that Daniel was right all along. A part of her wants to go and apologize, while the other wants her to figure out more information before she does. However, a battle is about to begin and Luce doesn’t have much time.
Will she survive?
