Hello everyone! Here’s the second book I decided to post for Throwback Tuesdays! The Dead List, by Martin Crosbie is one of my all-round favorites. Known for his famous self-publishing journey, Martin Crosbie is also notorious for writing action-packed books guaranteed to leave you on the edge of your seat. Although lacking in character development and clarity, this book is sure to be one you will never forget.

————————————————

John Drake is a police officer. He has a night watch in a neighborhood where nothing really ever happens; until something does. Drake finds a dead body in a position where it’s really hard for him to call it suicide and walk away.

Most of the officers are happy with handing this case over to their superiors or the mortician to find out the true cause of the man’s death. However, John is certain that this was murder and when the mortician says that the cause of death was poisoning, John is more than willing to take this case.

Drake thinks he’s about to solve the mystery when he finds a list with the names of five people on it and he begins to wonder if there’s something deeper going on. Then a person on the list ends up dead, and he knows for sure that this case is far from closed.
